Explore the amazing alphabet in this bright and beautiful alphabet book with the beloved Whatif Monsters!
Featuring Michelle Nelson-Schmidt's bright and distinctive artwork, each letter introduces animals and nouns. Your child is sure to be delighted as they learn their alphabet, are introduced to simple sentences, can match colors with nouns, and recognize rhymes.
We love all of Michelle's Whatif Monster books, and this one is especially cute! My 3-year-old son hasn't been very interested in learning his alphabet lately. However, the cute monsters and bright colors of this book drew him in, and he requested reading this book at bedtime! Michelle even signed the book, making it extra special. We will be adding this to our nightly reading routine 😀
My 5 year old LOVES the WhatIf Monster and is learning to read right now. I cannot wait to gift him this book for Christmas. He's going to adore all the fun bright colors. Michelle Nelson-Schmidt never disappoints!
I teach upper elementary students and the adore this alphabet book! They love the bright colors and happiness throughout the alphabet presentation.
I love this book and everything by MNS! I can’t wait to give this to my little for Christmas!
We love this book. My three month old loves the contrast on the pages and we all love the cute rhythms
I am in the process of publishing my first children's book through a small publishing company currently, but wanted to learn more about the different publishing options and experiences possible. I knew very little to pursue a different type of publisher for the next book I'm writing (a different genre and audience than my first.) This course was SO HELPFUL in learning about different publishing routes, where to start, what to look for, how to find an agent, etc. Thank you, Michelle, for using your own experiences and success to help others up along the way!
We love all of the WhatIf Monster books. We love our WhatIf Monster! My kiddo drags it around the house and has it on all his adventures. I love it because it is a visual reminder for him to be be brave, and to think about all the good things we learn from the WhatIf Monster. I have to share this photo from yesterday. I came into his room and WhatIf and a few other stuffies were up on his ceiling fan. "Don't worry mommy, I didn't stand on my dresser to put them there, I was up in my bunk bed. WhatIf Monster was showing the other stuffies how to be brave!"
I love the Whatif Monster's strategy of imagining way outside the box to cope with anxiety. I'm gonna start using this myself!
I LOVE these! Everyone I show them to wants them - not just for the kids, but for themselves, too! Gonna have to stock up!
What if....we could work to change the world through being brave enough to spread kindness daily? We ordered Books 1-6 of The Whatif Monster Chapter Books Series. My 5 year old LOVES them. We have read Gabby and the Mean Girl 5 times in a few days. I love how these books talk about real-life things like mean kids at school, but then the WhatIf Monster helps us dig deeper to find out why they are mean. Through showing kindness to Gabby it is then that Jonathon James, Sam & Sebastion find out why she is mean. She lost her mom and is foster care. She is mean so that she won't have to make friends and say goodbye to them later. I love how Michelle's books give a glimpse into real lives of people. It allows us as parents to read and expose our kids to the different type of people and families that the world has. The whole world needs more kindness and her books help show kids how to spread it! Don't mind my dog who photo bombed the photo last night. She loves storytime too, and getting her picture taken.
